Refund Policy – Tournament Entry Fees
- Tournament rules should specify the refund policy, however in general terms:
- Cancellations by the entrant from a tournament with more than 10 business days’ notice will be refunded in full.
- Cancellation by the entrant within 10 business days may be refunded at the club’s discretion and may be subject to an administration fee.
- If the club cancels the tournament, a full refund of entry fees will be made. Entrants are responsible for providing their full bank account details for the refund to be processed.
Refund Policy – Partial Rounds
Visitors are asked to assess the conditions on the day of play, in particular the weather and the number of vehicles in the car park. Having made their own assessment, the visitor should pay for a round including green fees and cart hire under the expectation that no refunds or credits will be given for incomplete rounds.
Refund Policy – Memberships
- Standard “cooling off” provisions as per the Fair Trading Act are in place. Customers are expected to know their rights in making any claim with the club.
- If cancelling a membership under “cooling off”, customers will be required to pay a green fee at standard rate for any rounds completed during the membership period being cancelled. Levin Golf Club reserves the right to deduct such fees from any membership fee paid before a refund is provided.
- Memberships are typically for a one-year period (excepting seasonal memberships). Once the cooling off period has expired, there are no refunds for part of the year “unused”.
- Exceptional circumstances: request should be made to the Board of the Levin Golf Club, in writing, explaining the circumstances.
EFTPOS Cash Out Policy
- EFTPOS cash outs are limited to $20 per person per day.
- Cash out availability is subject to operational requirements. Cash may not be available. Members and visitors are reminded not to rely on cash outs at the Club
